With nearly 30 years of financial services industry experience, Chris founded Vesta Fortuna Wealth Management in 2022. Before establishing this independent wealth advisory firm, he was a founding partner at CFG Wealth Management since its inception in 2005.

Chris specializes in helping employers, business owners, and participants get the most out of their retirement plans. What really drives him is seeing a participant on track to their financial goals while easing the burdens of employers’ administrative and fiduciary requirements. Chris earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Oregon State University and graduated from the Wharton School’s Executive Program in Retirement Planning. As an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®), he possesses a thorough understanding of legislative issues, fiduciary best practices, and a commitment to the standards of investment fiduciary excellence. What this means for our clients is there are no propriety products; instead, no-nonsense, straightforward advice is given to all plan participants.

Chris believes in bettering the community and the people living in it. He and his wife, Kirsten, are active in the local community, regularly giving their time and talent to organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, MercyCorps International, Catholic Charities, and Special Olympics.

Chris, Kirsten, and their three children love time off in sunny locations, Hawaii being the favorite. An avid cook and wine enthusiast, Chris loves preparing French meals for his friends and family and is on a lifelong quest to find that perfect bottle of red for less than $25.
